Spode Indian Sporting Lid

Description:
A Spode Indian Sporting series vegetable tureen lid, c.1810. It is well printed with a titled scene; "HOG-HUNTERS MEETING BY SURPRISE A TIGRESS & HER CUBS". It is also printed and impressed Spode.

Condition:
Excellent condition. There are two very fine 1/4" hairlines from the rim.

Size:
8" (20.5cm) wide.
